This study is based on the concept that sin is a sickness and Jesus, the physician, cures this sickness in and through the Qurbana. The author wants to clarify that for the eastern churches, ‘remission of sins’ is experienced not only through the sacrament of reconciliation but also through the other sacraments and other liturgical service, especially through the
Qurbana.
