Welcome to the official publication series of the Pontifical Oriental Institute of Religious Studies (PVP). Our mission is to advance knowledge and scholarship in the fields of religion and culture, with a particular focus on the areas of specialization central to our Institute.
Recognizing our unique role as a research hub for the Oriental Churches of India, we are dedicated to producing works of significant value that explore and celebrate Eastern and Indian ecclesial traditions. Since our inception, we have proudly published 502 books, contributing to the enrichment of academic and spiritual discourse.
In addition to our main series, we have introduced a specialized subdivision, Qanona, which focuses on publications under the auspices of the Institute of Eastern Canon Law. This initiative reflects our commitment to deepening understanding and engagement with the rich legal and theological heritage of the Eastern Churches.
